Substrate for Trypsin Boc-Gln-Ala-Arg-AMC is a potent fluorogenic substrate for Trypsin. Our synthetic peptide Boc-Gln-Ala-Arg-AMC (Boc-QAR-AMC) is also used as substrate for the determination of Matriptase, an enzyme which was initially isolated from human breast cancer cells. The name Boc-Gln-Ala-Arg-MCA is commonly used in Japan as a synonym for Boc-Gln-Ala-Arg-AMC.

Synthetic Product

A trace of impurity might be detectable by TLC when 100 µg is applied to the plate. The amount of contamination detectable by HPLC is less than 2 %.
