L-Leucine-4-methylcoumaryl-7-amide

Substrate for Aminopeptidase The fluorogenic enzyme substrate L-Leucine-4-methylcoumaryl-7-amide – Leu-AMC – is widly used as high sensitive substrate for aminopeptidase M and for leucine aminopeptidase. Leu-MCA (Methyl-Cumarin Amide) is a synonym for Leu-AMC.

Synthetic Product (Tosylate Form)

A single spot is detectable by TLC when 100 µg is applied to the plate. The amount of contamination detectable by HPLC is less than 1 %.
