Substrate for Cathepsin B The benzyloxycarbonyl protected dipeptide Z-Arg-Arg-AMC is used as high sensitive and selective fluorogenic enzyme substrate for the determination of Cathepsin B. (MCA is used in Japan as synonym for AMC)

Synthetic Product (Hydrochloride Form)

A trace of impurity might be detectable by TLC when 100 µg is applied to the plate. The amount of contamination detectable by HPLC is less than 2 %.
