Neuronal Tetrodotoxin-Sensitive Na+-Channel Blocker Huwentoxin-IV, HWTX-IV) was originally isolated from the Chinese Bird Spider venom. The 35 residue peptide build 3 disulfid bridges and is a potent inhibitor of neuronal voltage gated sodium channels.
