Inhibitor for Deubiquitinating Enzyme Ubiquitin aldehyde, a peptide aldehyde of 76 amino acids is produced by a semisynthetic pathway. It is used as very potent and selective inhibitor for Ubiquitin C-terminal hydrolase. Ubiquitin aldehyde is a useful tool to protect ubiquitin-protein conjugates from ubiquitin-dependent degradation.
